COVID - 19

In 2020, the Michigan Department of Agriculture (MDARD) has determined that farmers markets are an essential service and can be open with safety precautions in place.

Due to COVID-19, farmers markets across the US are required to add extensive safety features such as handwashing stations, sanitizing handwashing stations, separate entrance/exit as well as a requirement of masks per the Lincoln Park Police Department.  Due to these extensive requirements as well as certain recommendations, we now require more volunteers on a weekly basis.
